Nov 16th, 2024 – Moons Out Goons Out – Low Light & NV Shoot – Pueblo CO

This is NOT a training class.  This is a special event with very limited space AND required equipment to participate.

TICKET SALES BEGIN MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 23RD AT 12:00 PM.

This special event is intended to give participants an opportunity to use Low Light and Night Vision gear to your LARPing heart’s desire.  As a bonus, there will be a FULL MOON.

This is not a beginner event, it is REQUIRED that you have a firm grasp of safe firearms handling skills including under low light conditions in order to participate.  If you are found to be unable to safely handle your firearm, you will be kicked out. 

This event is being held on an afternoon and evening in November, the weather will be cold. 

The format of the event will be:

• 3:00 PM – 4:00 PM Orientation, Range Rules, Setup

• 4:00 PM – 6:30 PM Low Light /NV (Suppressors not required) (Sunset will be at 4:45PM)

• 6:30 PM – 9:00 PM Low Light/NV (Suppressors REQUIRED)

• 9:00 PM – Campfire/Bourbon – Overnight Camping Available (no services)

Required Equipment (NO EXCEPTIONS):

• All Rifles will be REQUIRED to have a sling
• All Handguns will be REQUIRED to have a holster
• Eye and Ear Protection
• After 6:30 PM, all FIREARMS will be REQUIRED to be SUPPRESSED
• All FIREARMS used after dark will be REQUIRED to be equipped with FLASHLIGHTS or NV targeting equipment
• Wearable Glow Sticks (front and back)

Suggested/Optional Equipment:

• Suppressors (no suppressors required to shoot from 3:00 PM to 6:30 PM)
• Extra Batteries (you don’t want to be that goon caught without enough batteries)
• Cold Weather Gear…extra points for each piece of multicam you own
• Camping Equipment
• Whiskey of Choice for the Campfire (weather permitting)

Camping On Site will be available.  No Services will be available.

Cost:  $50 Range Fee 

It is STRONGLY recommended that you WRITE DOWN your directions and take note of your route.  If you are leaving in the evening after the event is over, you will be driving out IN THE DARK.
