Are the free classes free?
Yes. The free classes are free.
How much do the free classes cost?
The free classes do not cost the student anything.
But will I get a certificate to apply for my CCW (CHP)?
Yes. You will get the required certificate to apply and obtain your CCW (CHP). This is true for all handgun classes we provide. This does not apply to non-handgun classes (e.g., medical classes, mental health seminars)
But is this accepted in my county?
Yes. This is a state permit, issued by your local sheriff/chief. Because it is a state permit, the requirements are set by the state, not your sheriff/chief.
Nothing is free. Is this really free?
You are correct, nothing is free. The classes cost US a lot of money. Nearly 100K annualy to operate, so we rely on donations. But the ccw class is still free to students.
Can I get a replacement certificate?

What is needed for the class?
Every class is different, so read the emails you received. You start receiving class emails as soon as you register. If you entered a wrong email you won’t get that info. Check your junk folder.
I heard you use bad words.
If you attend a class with Edgar, there will definitely be a lot of bad words.
Are you actually certified?
Yes. Certified through Guns For Everyone National and the NRA.
How long is the certificate good for?
Under current law, 10 years.
How old do I have to be to attend the class?
Although you must be 21 to obtain the permit, we do not care how old you are. All ages are welcome. Maturity and positive learning attitude is what matters.
I don't have my ID, is that okay?
Yeah. We don’t perform the background checks, we simply provide the training, and we don’t care about IDs. When you apply you will need it, but not to attend the class.
